while living in NYC,
i fell asleep with candles lit and jeff buckley on repeat...
i woke up to 'yard of blonde girls'
and noticed the most intense and beautiful shadow
next to my bed.
without hesitation, i picked up a pencil
and traced the abstract daffodils.
and that, my friends, began my style of painting
& obsession with marking each place i live.
